SLIG 2016: Day 3; A Photo Recap

Today was another full day of class sessions. We started to really dig into the nuts and bolts of southern research today. Tonight I had a chance to go to the Family History Library, but I chose to stay in because we had a homework assignment. I knew if I tried to do the assignment at the FHL, I’d seen a squirrel run across the floor and into the Galveston County, Texas book rack and I would be hunting it for hours.

J. Mark Lowe live from Tennessee! The master of southern research himself! Mark talked to us for about twenty minutes this morning.

One of my teachers, Anne Gillespie Mitchell, Ancestry.com's famous "Ancestry Anne". Very energetic teacher I might add!

This was the meeting of the NextGen Genealogy Network after the classes today. We are having a lot of fun talking about genealogy!
Staying in my room to do homework has it's perks.

The weather was a little chilly for me outside, but I've been indoors since Sunday with an average temperature of 72!
